G-mee Connect 2 and Connect Pro now making phone calls EXCLUSIVELY using 4G VoLTE in Australia.
With all the confusion and questions following the 3G network shutdown of Optus and Telstra this week, and following Vodafone shutting the 3G network in December last year, we thought we would publish a quick note to confirm our G-mee smart phones continue to function correctly.
The G-mee Connect Pro and the G-mee Connect 2 have been tested by the team this week and we are pleased to report phone calls continue to be transmitted using VoLTE across the 4G networks of Vodafone, Optus and Telstra.
This is of course the way we designed the phones to work and before shutdowns occurred we did extensive testing to ensure customers could have confidence in our handsets continuing to support Calls, SMS and Data.
We just wanted to pop by an update you that all is working as expected.
