You will need to access both ‘Inbox Notifications’ and ‘Manage Notifications’.

Inbox notifications, allow you to select both label notifications and notify for every message.

Manage notifications, allows you to activate show notifications. You also need to decide on a behaviour, we chose ‘make sound’. You can also choose to activate the vibration setting and whether you want the message shown on the screen while it is locked.

You can play around with the exact configurations that work best for you. When you receive an email, you will at least now be able to see the small email icon on the top of the screen and hear an audible alert.
